Luis Cordeiro-Rodrigues is associate professor at Hunan University; he has previously worked at the University of Fort Hare (South Africa), University of York (UK) and Sun yat-Sen University (China). He works mostly on ethics and political philosophy. His main research focuses are on multiculturalism, postcolonial theory, critical race theory and African ethics. He has published two edited books on these topics - Animals, Race and Multiculturalism (Palgrave) and Philosophies of Multiculturalism (Routledge). He has over 20 articles on these topics in journals like Environmental Ethics, Journal of Speculative Philosophy, Journal of Agricultural and Environmental Ethics and Society & Animals.
