路易斯·科尔代罗-罗德里格斯（Luis Cordeiro-Rodrigues）是湖南大学哲学正教授及岳麓学者晨星A岗。他拥有丰富的国际经验，曾在英国、南非以及中山大学任职。他获得约克大学政治学、哲学与经济学（PPE）硕士及博士学位，爱丁堡大学历史学硕士学位，以及里斯本大学哲学学士学位。

他已发表90余篇学术文章，主要研究领域包括应用伦理学、非洲哲学和宗教哲学。在应用伦理学方面，他在医疗伦理和人工智能伦理等议题上，在《The Monist》、《Bioethics》、《American Journal of Bioethics》、《The Hastings Center Report》和《American Philosophical Quarterly》等顶级期刊发表论文，其中一篇论文入选牛津大学出版社2021年度“哲学最佳论文”榜单。在非洲哲学方面，他研究历史与当代问题，最近出版了专著《安哥拉政治思想》。在宗教哲学方面，他主要关注“恶的问题”，相关研究发表在《Philosophy》和《Religious Studies》等顶尖期刊上。

近年来，他对中国哲学产生了浓厚兴趣，尤其专注于《庄子》。他关于道家哲学与《庄子》的研究成果发表在《Journal of Medical Ethics》、《Neuroethics》和《Global Philosophy》等期刊上。

Luis Cordeiro-Rodrigues is a full professor of philosophy and a Morning Star Scholar at Hunan University. He has extensive international experience, having previously held positions in the UK, South Africa, and at Sun Yat-sen University in China. He earned a MA and a PhD in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of York, an MSc in History from the University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon.

He has published over 90 articles and works primarily in three areas: Applied Ethics, African Philosophy, and Philosophy of Religion. In applied ethics, he has contributed to debates on medical ethics and AI ethics in leading journals, including The Monist, Bioethics, American Journal of Bioethics, The Hastings Center Report, and American Philosophical Quarterly. One of his papers was selected for Oxford University Press’s “Best of Philosophy” list in 2021. In African philosophy, he has explored both historical and contemporary issues, recently publishing the book Angolan Political Thought. In the philosophy of religion, his work has focused primarily on the problem of evil and has appeared in top journals such as Philosophy and Religious Studies.

More recently, he has developed an interest in Chinese philosophy, with a particular focus on the Zhuangzi. His research on Daoist philosophy and the Zhuangzi has been published in journals including Journal of Medical Ethics, Neuroethics, and Global Philosophy.
